These days, eyeshadow palettes are being released by all brands in all different varieties that make it hard to narrow down to a few necessities. After trying many, I can say that these palettes truly perform how they are expected!

First and foremost, I am going to start with one of my favourite things - eyeshadow palettes! There is so much on the market these days and its hard to know what is worth the money and what isn't. Divided into categories, you will find my top picks below!

Favourite Smokey Eye Palette

As far as smokey eye goes, the first palette that comes to mind is my Urban Decay Naked Smoky (shocking I know). This palette is available on Sephora and runs for C$66.00 and has 12 eyeshadow pans with 0.05oz in each. This palette is so versatile and gives you a range of smokey eye looks from warm browns, cool greys, eggplant purples and icy blues. The eyeshadows blend like a dream and have beautiful pigment. Not to mention the range of sparkle and matte shades and the perfect brow bone highlights!

Favourite Colourful Palette

As for colour, the winner would have to be the Urban Decay Electric pressed pigment palette. This palette is no longer available on Sephora but is still available on urbandecay.ca and is currently on sale for C$40.00. There are 10 pans with 0.04oz in each. This palette is GORGEOUS. The colour pay off is unreal and it lasts all day. Even without an eyeshadow primer the colours are vibrant and stunning. Just be careful as some of the colours may stain without a base!!

Favourite Neutrals Palette - Warm

This one was easy. My favourite neutrals palette and favourite palette of all time has to be the Morphe 35O. This palette can be found on the Morphe Brushes website and runs for $22.99 USD with 35 pans for a total of 1.98oz of product. This is definitely all it is hyped up to be, as the colours are so pigmented and absolutely beautiful. This is my go-to because the warm shades pair perfect with my blue-green eyes. The mattes blend like a dream and the shimmer shadows have the consistency of a foiled shadow because of how soft and pigmented they are. The looks are endless with this and it is perfect for the fall season!

Favourite Neutrals Palette - Cool

As much as I am a fan of warm eyeshadows, I always love to throw in a cool-toned makeup look every now and again. For these looks, my go-to palette would have to be the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons. This palette is available on Sephora for C$59.00 with 16 pans of 0.03oz. This palette has such a gorgeous colour range and best of all it smells just like chocolate! I love how it has a range of mattes and shimmers, as well as a few pops of colour and the most perfect brow-bone highlight included.

Favourite Glitter Palette

For glitter palettes, I would have to say my favourite is the Urban Decay Moondust! This palette is on Sephora and runs for C$70.00 with eight pans that have 0.02oz in each. I absolutely love the fact they included colours and neutrals, and I find these colours all so easy to incorporate into almost every eye look I do. I also love how this palette brings out my artistic side. I mean who doesn't love a little sparkle! My only suggestion is spraying your brush with a setting spray and applying a good base to get the most out of these pressed glitters. It is important to keep in mind that this is a pressed glitter palette meaning it is not a stand alone product, but more meant to enhance your eye looks!

*Note: The lightest shade Specter is very close to my skin tone so it is hard to see in the swatch.

There are so many palettes to choose from in a world where new makeup products are being released daily, so I hope these recommendations make choosing a little easier!
