So just recently my parents went to Ottawa for my stepdad's check up and they came back with a surprise for me from Sephora (as they know me so well and know its my all time favourite store).
I had no clue what it was but I opened it and was in compete awe of this beautiful product. I have always wanted to try these products and thought the packaging and look of them was gorgeous. I also heard that they are amazing for fair skin with giving that airbrushed no makeup makeup look. I could never bring myself to buy this palette but I am so thankful for it because it is truly a makeup game changer and as an artist I always love to experiment with different products.
First the product came in a shiny gold box, and was encased in card board keeping it protected. The palette itself is a gorgeous marble mimicking sturdy plastic.

When I opened up the palette I couldn't believe how gorgeous the powders truly were. Each one with its own special quality and an ethereal glow to them.
They all felt extremely soft and smooth to the touch as well.

When I took the palette from the box, I also noticed a handy card that explained every powder and what to use them for. The largest powder on the left is a setting powder followed by two blushes on top, and a bronzer and highlight on the bottom. There is almost an entire face of makeup in this entire palette!

The palette was a little smaller than expected, but with the powders a little definitely goes a long way and I know they will last a long time! There is also a gorgeous mirror on the top of the palette making this perfect for travel.

Here are some finger swatches of the product. As you can see, they are not super pigmented but are very natural looking. Sometimes tons of pigment in face products isn't necessary since all you really need it a wash of colour. Since they aren't packed full of pigment, they are perfect for my fair skin and blend like an absolute dream.

I tried every single product on my face today (please excuse the bumps on my chin its breakout time) and I was so impressed with how luminous and healthy my skin looked without being over the top! So gorgeous. I think this palette would work for any skin tone, I just was excited that it worked even though I am so fair. I do think that they should make some deeper shades for complexions on the deeper end of the spectrum.
All in all, although this palette was pricey I highly HIGHLY recommend and it is my new favourite!! Thanks to my parents! ;)
